Why We're doing this
Chris and I met doing what we love, photography and videography. We got married in 2014 and launched S+C Photography the same year. While I'm out shooting, Chris works his magic editing the photos.
I've always been passionate about relationships (I've loved romance movies since I was little!), so helping people find a life partner is a perfect fit. After photographing over 300 headshots and portraits, I know what it takes to make someone feel at ease and authentically themselves in front of the camera.

Bring 2-4 outfits that represent different sides of your personality. Think: casual everyday look, something you'd wear on a date, an outfit that reflects your hobbies or lifestyle, and maybe something a bit dressier. Avoid busy patterns, logos, or all-black everything. Wear clothes that fit well and make you feel confident. That energy shows in photos!
Where do we shoot?
I have several go-to locations around Ottawa-Gatineau that photograph beautifully and offer variety: urban settings, natural backgrounds, cafés, and parks. We'll discuss locations during your pre-shoot consultation based on your personality and the vibe you want to convey. We want to ensure we include a location that's meaningful to you.
How long until I get my photos?
You'll receive your fully edited photos within 10 days of your shoot. I'll send them via an online gallery where you can easily download and share them.
Will you help me choose which photos to use and where?
Absolutely! Part of the service is guidance on selecting your best shots and strategically ordering them on your profile. I'll explain which photo should be your main profile pic, which ones showcase different aspects of your personality, and how to rotate them for maximum impact.
What if I'm awkward on camera?
You're not alone! Most people feel this way, which is exactly why you're hiring a professional. I'll be hyping you up throughout the entire shoot and guiding you through everything: where to stand, how to position yourself, what to do with your hands, and how to relax. With over 11 years of experience, I'm great at making people feel comfortable and getting natural, genuine expressions. You'll be surprised how quickly you loosen up.
Do you offer bilingual services?
Yes! I'm comfortable working in both English and French.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, just give me at least 48 hours notice and we'll find another time that works. Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit.
Can I bring a friend for support?
Of course! Sometimes having a friend there helps you relax. Just let me know in advance.
